Ram hoops lands state's "best player"

After what has been a disappointing couple of weeks for the Colorado State men's basketball team, the program recently received some big-time uplifting news. Stephen Franklin, a 6-foot-5 guard for undefeated and top-ranked Aurora Central, has verbally committed to play for Colorado State in 2008. Franklin is widely regarded as the state of Colorado's top prep prospect.

Rams add to incoming recruiting class with big man

On the same day that it was announced two previously highly recruited players (Phillip Thomasson and Stephen Verwers) were transferring, the coaching staff got a verbal commitment from 6-11 post player Ronnie Aguilar from John W. Marshall high school in Los Angeles, Calif. Aguilar visited the Colorado State campus this weekend, and gave a verbal commitment today according to a source close to the program.
