Signed a letter of intent February 1. Prior to committing to CSU, Brewer had verbally committed to CU before changing his mind. He also had an offer from Wyoming and was being recruited by Kansas State.

Brewer originally committed to Colorado, but de-committed the week of December 5 when Buffs head coach Gary Barnett's future was in question. Brewer visited CSU December 10-11 and committed shortly thereafter. He projects as a linebacker at CSU.
