Participated in the Rams' summer camp, visited in early December, and had an in-home visit from assistant coach Dave Arnold January 6. He was offered a scholarship with the possibility to grayshirt. Miller is a three-year starter and was named to the Topeka Capital Journal Class 4A first-team and the Kansas Football Coaches Association (KFBCA) 4A first-team. The KFBCA also chose him to the Elite 11 team which comes from all classes, and he was also selected to play in the Kansas Shrine Bowl all-star game to be played in July.
Also is a three-year letterman in wrestling and track. He was the 275-pound 4A state champion in 2005 and a state track qualifier.
