Del Rio Texas safety Kevin Pierre-Louis highlights made a verbal commitment to Colorado State this week. Pierre-Louis visited Colorado and CSU back in October. Pierre-Louis gave a verbal to CU, but changed his mind after the firing of coach Dan Hawkins. See link below for his commitment announcement. Pierre-Louis hits hard, but also moves well enough to play free safety.

CSU is also thought to be interested in bringing Snow College safety Ryan Comer. Comer, a December graduate, visited Fort Collins this past weekend, but has not signed with the Rams yet.

The Rams did sign one junior college transfer this week. American River College defensive end Colton Paulhus signed with CSU and should enroll for spring semester. Paulhus from Granite Bay, California signed with Idaho State originally, but left before his first semester.

CSU continues to look for receiver help. Last week CSU hosted Coriscana, Texas receiver Thomas McDonald. This week Charles Lovett from Tampa, Florida is visiting. CSU could potentially add two receivers to the class of 2011 despite losing only Tyson Liggett off the 2010 roster.
