Ramnation Recruiting

Dr. Phil? No, Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Florida could prove to be quite the pipeline for the Colorado State football team. When CSU signed Nico Ranieri last year it could have been more then just a singular future starting quarterback recruit. Ranieri transferred to Dr. Phillips as a senior and earned Central Florida Player of the Year honors. Ranieri has used his influence to help gain commitments from three other Dr. Phillips players this year. Running back/athlete Marvin Ford, and linebackers Charles Favors and Marquise Hood are all expected to sign with CSU next month. However, Steve Fairchild was unable to get a commitment from prized Dr. Phillips receiver Kenny Shaw who committed to Florida State. Next year will be another talent rich Dr. Phillips team. The Rams have already offered three Dr. Phillips juniors.
