"That was one immediate need. We had to come up with a couple of linebackers. We were lacking depth in that area. We have two starters and a couple of other guys coming back. But the addition of John Clark and Curtis Cornelson are two linebackers who can help us."

On Klay Kubiak
"His eyes light up when you start talking football. Everything is in front of him in football."

On freshmen playing early
"We need some help in the secondary, because we have a lot of juniors and seniors. One or two could end up helping us early in the secondary. A guy like Zach Donaldson or Elijah Blu Smith could help us."
