Huge Second Half Propels Colorado State Over New Mexico, 35-25

Justin Holland's 15-yard touchdown pass to David Anderson in the fourth quarter capped off Colorado State's second half rally in a 35-25 win over New Mexico Friday night.
The Rams, who trailed 25-12 at halftime, shut down the Lobos' offense in the second half and converted three New Mexico turnovers into 17 points. Jason Smith booted three of his four field goals in the second half comeback.

The 2004-05 season was going to be the breakout year for Freddy Robinson. He was being counted on to play a major role after starting 22 games and averaging 8.9 points/game as a sophomore, showing why he was a McDonald’s All-American Nominee and prep All-Stater. He was proving to be a slasher, a scorer, a tenacious defender…a fan favorite.
Then his world came crashing down on August 7, 2004.

Such was the case Saturday afternoon when the Colorado State Rams defeated the Wyoming Cowboys 39-31 in front of 32,801 at Hughes Stadium.
