The Colorado State University women's basketball returned to winning form on Saturday afternoon, completing the regular season sweep of San Diego State by beating the Aztecs at Cox Arena. The victory snapped a seven-game slide for the Rams (8-12, 2-7 MWC) and leaves San Diego State (3-16, 0-9 MWC) alone in last place in the Mountain West.

Women's basketball drops stunning loss at home to Air Force

A double-double and season-high tying 18 points by senior Lindsay Thomas was not enough to prevent Air Force from pushing the Colorado State women's basketball team's losing streak to seven. The Rams fell to 7-12 overall, 1-7 in the Mountain West, following Thursday night's 76-60 loss in Moby Arena. The Falcons improved to 11-8 and 2-6 in the MWC, defeating Colorado State in Fort Collins for the first time since 1979.

Brady Smith Makes Contribution to CSU Football Program

Ten-year NFL veteran Brady Smith,- who was an all-star defensive lineman for Colorado State University from 1992-95, today made a sizeable financial contribution to the Rams' football program. Smith, a defensive end, who visited the campus last weekend and attended CSU's football awards banquet Sunday night, donated $75,000 to the Rams' program. Smith's gift will be used to enhance the football program by providing additional video and weight room equipment.

Rams stumble against Horned Frogs

On paper, it appeared that Colorado State could break an 18-game Mountain West road losing streak against the 4-14 TCU Horned Frogs Saturday night.
