Subject: Sending students to the MWC championships to reward them for loyalty to the team

CU is sending 50 students to the Pac-12 championships as a reward
for supporting their Buffs. Air fare, hotel and tickets are being covered
by private donations, with the students traveling on an official university
charter. The students will be chosen based on how many events they
have attended.
Could this be something CSU tracks? By scanning ID cards at the
ticket office or during entry to BB or FB games, the number of events a
student attends could be tracked, and those who are the most loyal
fans could be rewarded in some way. Championship tickets, bowl
game tickets, free membership to the RC etc etc. Maybe even having
a system similar to the ram points in the GRC so everyone who
attends can reap some reward (so many points for a free t-shirt,
qdoba burrito etc)? Also, this could be a way to identify potential
donors of the future upon graduation based on their affinity to
athletics.
Just a thought...
