What about the concept of a "Weekender" season ticket package for
Men's Basketball next year? It would include every home game played
on a weekend.
The reasoning behind this is to try to draw more fans outside of the FTC
area. In my own circumstances (living in Parker), when I come up for
CSU games I try to make a full day of it in the Fort to justify the 4 hours
there and back in the car. The weekday games are difficult to come up
for after spending 10 hours at work. I think many fans in the Denver
area might feel the same.
However, if you set up a partial package to make it look similar to a
football season ticket plan (weekends), it should translate into
increased revenue, and potentially some local fans who start with the
weekender package would be brought into the fold for more.
Just a thought.
