Bill "Doc" Sullivan

Bill "Doc" Sullivan was a huge Ram fan, and a RamNation.com contributor since its inception in 2000. He always brought passion, insight, kindness, and a sense of camaraderie to our web community. Unfortunately, on March 28, Doc passed away after a year-long battle with cancer.

As an avid Ram fan, one of the causes Bill and the family wanted to support after his passing was the CSU athletic department. So, with your help, we hope to endow a scholarship in Doc's name to preserve his memory and honor his love of the Rams. To fully endow a scholarship, we must raise $25,000. With thousands of passionate Ram fans in the RamNation community, we should be able to achieve this goal. Please get involved and do what you can to donate to this cause. We understand that Ram Club renewals and season ticket renewals are also on your front burner. But, if you can dig a little deeper and also support this cause, it would touch the hearts of Bill's family, as well as his countless "cyber" friends who have gotten to know him over the last eight years.

3. Click on “Additional Designations”
4. Select "Doc" Bill Sullivan Memorial Scholarship Endowment
5. Enter the amount of your contribution
6. Click “delete” next to University Fund and click 'OK' when prompted
7. Click “Go To Steps 2 and 3”

Background

Bill was diagnosed with kidney cancer last spring and had been battling it for a year as it spread to other parts of his body. He underwent numerous surgeries and countless treatments, and had many ups and downs. During the week of March 17, doctors felt it was time to forego treatments and just try to live out the final days of his life as comfortably as possible, which Bill did at his home in Fort Collins with family and friends constantly by his side. We lost Bill at 11:05 p.m. March 28.
