Thanks for the forum to express my devotion for State in a positive manner and reading others with the same devotion if not support.

However, over the course of the last two years the site has become caustic at the foundation of Colorado State Athletics and the University as a whole. Statements made in partial anonymity, cloaked behind handles, verge on libelous and undoubtedly character assassination! People provide MASS dissemination of unfounded charges and claims that no responsible newspaper would ever publish even in their editorial section. Quite frankly why would anybody (i.e., recruit, potential student, parent, donor, alumni, coach or AD candidate) EVER consider investing in OUR Alma Mater with the crap posted?

Is State without foibles? (no) Have they made mistakes? (yes) But has anyone been involved in a cover-up, actual larceny or embezzlement, criminal action of any kind? Remind these misguided fools that they are posting about their FAMILY-CLASSMATES-FRIENDS-COMRADS committed to CState. They do NOTHING to foster RAM PRIDE! They, in fact, make it harder to promote the Ram Club to others. None of them can seriously evaluate their post as constructive and more and more shock value seems to be their purpose for garnering attention. This leads me to conclude they are none other than bitter twisted personalities. Would they post anything similar about their kindred?!

They can laugh at the "OLD FOGIES" in the Spirit Committee but their love is without strings and expectations. They do for one ... they do for all!

Ram Club memberships fund SCHOLARSHIPS…Kids, who lay it on the line for my Green and Gold! Critics cutting their GRC support hurts Kids!! Justifying their stinginess by saying "that the University's and Athletic Departments fat budgets won't be squandered on $160k coaches salary (where have they been?)…we'll show 'em!"

They should protest silently or in a letter to the AD, but if anybody wants somebody fired they had better step up with CA$H ...more than just their BIG MOUTHS or cowardly fingers!

I really only visit the site maybe 1 once every 2 weeks or a month now, 'cause of the CRAP posted, turns my stomach and my anger boils. How is it that folks who contend to Love State as much as I would trash it so! No way could I respond in a civil fashion, to the statements made. Whatever happened to mom saying "If you can't say anything nice about someone don't say anything at all?" As a Lutheran Christian my catechism 40 years ago taught (and still does) "Thou shalt not bear false witness = put the BEST construction on everything of thy neighbor!" I'm not a Polly Anna ... I'm devoted and loyal with unconditional love so long as LAWS are not broken and people are not destroyed.

I honestly thought the parties that post on the site are mature enough to recognize this on their own. Sticks and stones do break bones BUT WORDS do hurt!
